Everyday is something to celebrate! Here at Periwinkle we love a good celebration and we'd love to share the fun -- each weekend we hold a give away on our Facebook page. We'll announce the contest at some time on Friday (this week's is up already!) and draw our winner on Monday at noon PST. There's no purchase necessary, you need not be present and, while we'd love for you to stop by and visit, we can ship your present out to you wherever you may be!

 We're so excited to have helped fundraise for Glendora's Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society! The big weekend is nearly here -- May 17th & 18th.

 Earlier this spring, we decked our shop in purple to acknowledge this event and celebrate those who have fought, those now fighting and their friends and family who support them. 

 Even if you are not walking the event, Relay for Life offers opportunities to show support -- come out to cheer on walkers or dedicate a luminaria. Visit Glendora Relay for Life for more details.

We just received a new batch of C.R. Gibson's photo clutches! Each one holds 20 photos -- just enough to brag a little. We have sparkly, bright and prints in now- and they'll be listed here soon!

New Wrapping Paper from Love and Luck Shop! April 07 2014, 0 Comments

 I was so lucky this past January to meet Alana of Love and Luck Shop at the World Market Center Las Vegas Gift + Home Show! Her booth was lovely! She and her husband are artists and business partners creating and selling their line of charming and whimsical greeting cards, gifts and gift wrap while raising their family.  

 Their cards feature touches of glitter and coordinating cheerily colored envelopes. Their wrapping papers are a generous oversize and of heavy stock (great for crafting, too!)

Chalk Festival this Saturday! April 06 2014, 1 Comment

Our little downtown village will be transformed this Saturday, April 12 with colorful chalk art lining the sidewalks. The weather is looking to be just about perfect! Come stroll along Glendora Avenue and watch the artists at work from 10 - 4. There will be live musical entertainment, face painting and more. Stop by Periwinkle for hot cocoa in the morning.

Prefer a quieter day out --visit Sunday and enjoy the finished masterpieces! The work is lovely the next day and Sunday is perfect for enjoying brunch in the village and a leisurely stroll. We'll be serving hot cocoa Sunday morning, too!
