Chalk Festival this Saturday! April 06 2014, 1 Comment
Our little downtown village will be transformed this Saturday, April 12 with colorful chalk art lining the sidewalks. The weather is looking to be just about perfect! Come stroll along Glendora Avenue and watch the artists at work from 10 - 4. There will be live musical entertainment, face painting and more. Stop by Periwinkle for hot cocoa in the morning.
Prefer a quieter day out --visit Sunday and enjoy the finished masterpieces! The work is lovely the next day and Sunday is perfect for enjoying brunch in the village and a leisurely stroll. We'll be serving hot cocoa Sunday morning, too!

I’ve always had great doutns there but I usually go late nights and get the ones that just came out of the fryer. Next time you do decide to give it another try, go after 9PM. Tigertails have been a fave and funny you mentioned buttermilk bars cuz I always get the unglazed ones
